Required permissions

Grant these on invite so every subsystem works without follow-up fixes: Manage Roles (auto-roles, level rewards, reaction roles, anti-nuke role stripping), Manage Channels (ticket channels, locks, slowmode), Kick Members, Ban Members, Moderate Members (timeout), Manage Messages (purge), Manage Nicknames (AdminSaver's rename action), View Audit Log (anti-nuke detection), Manage Threads and Create Private Threads (thread-mode tickets), Read Message History (transcripts and starboard), and Send Messages / Embed Links / Attach Files.

Setup

   Run /setup

   A three-step wizard: staff role tiers, log channels, then which AutoMod filters to switch on. You need Manage Server to run it. A handful of commands — /config, /panels, /mytickets, /staff, /reviews and /merge — wait until setup is done; the rest work for any administrator straight away.

   Set your staff tiers

   Atlas uses three inheriting tiers — Support ⊂ Moderator ⊂ Admin. Support handles tickets, applications and appeals. Moderator adds warns, timeouts, kicks, bans, purges, locks, lockdown and raid mode. Admin adds /setup, /config, panels, protection panels and the web dashboard. Discord's own permissions layer on top and only ever grant more: Administrator or server owner counts as Admin, and Manage Messages or Timeout Members counts as Moderator.

   Route your logs with /logs

   Five destinations, each independent: server events, tickets/applications/appeals (plus transcripts), AutoMod hits, anti-raid and anti-nuke alerts, and member reports. Inside the server-events destination you choose exactly which of the nine events post.

   Create your panels with /panels

   Build support (ticket), application, appeal and custom-embed panels — buttons or a dropdown, custom categories, question sets, ping roles and target channels. The free plan includes a shared pool of 10 panels across all four types.

   Tune protection with /automod and /antiraid

   Ten content filters, each with its own punishment ladder. Six of them — mentions, caps, emoji spam, attachment spam, duplicates and message rate — also take a threshold you can tune; bad words, scam links, invites and links are on-or-off. Anti-raid covers join-rate spikes and account-age gating; anti-nuke watches the audit log for a compromised insider deleting channels or roles en masse.

   Manage everything from the web

   Almost every setting above is also editable at bots.kojinstudios.com/dashboard — with trend charts, hosted transcripts, staff reviews, rank-card artwork and an audit log of who changed what. Changes apply immediately.

The support desk

Four panel types share one builder, one transcript format and one staff-permission model. Every panel you post counts against the same allowance, and /panels lists all of them — of every type — in a single manager.

Tickets

Members open a ticket from a panel; staff claim it with /claim so two people never answer at once. Panels can open a private channel or a thread — thread mode is a per-panel toggle in the builder's advanced step. Closing with /close saves a hosted HTML transcript and DMs it to the member, then asks them to rate the staff member who handled it. Quick responses (/response) and /tag snippets keep replies fast.

Applications

Staff, partner or creator applications with custom question sets. Each panel chooses how answers are collected: DM chat, where Atlas asks the questions one at a time, or a form popup. DM mode falls back to the form automatically if the applicant has DMs closed. Completed submissions post to your review channel with approve/deny buttons and reviewer notes. Up to 25 questions per application on every plan.

Appeals

Ban and punishment appeals get their own panel type and review flow, with a staff priority flag and the same transcript, closing DM and rating prompt as tickets — so appeals never get lost in a general queue.

Custom embeds

The fourth panel type posts a standalone branded embed — rules, an announcement, a links board — built and edited in the same designer as your support panels.

Manual actions

/warn, /timeout (up to Discord's 28-day maximum), /kick, /ban — which works on people who already left, can delete up to 7 days of their messages, and takes an optional duration for a temp-ban — plus /purge, /slowmode, /lock, /unlock and /lockdown. Every action creates a numbered case you can look up with /case, and /modlogs pages through a member's full history.

AutoMod

Ten filters — bad words, scam/phishing links, invite links, external links, mention spam, excessive caps, fast spam, duplicate text, emoji spam and attachment spam. Each filter has its own thresholds and its own punishment ladder, so mention spam can escalate differently from caps. Whitelisted roles and channels are exempt, and violations expire on a reset window you set. Scam links, invites, mentions, caps, fast spam and duplicate text are on out of the box; the rest are opt-in.

Warden

The shared warning ladder: manual /warn and AutoMod warnings both count toward it. Configure three thresholds and what fires at each step, whether the member is DM'd, and an auto-reset window. Whitelisted roles still have warnings recorded but never auto-escalate. The final step repeats for every warning past it, so someone at maximum warnings can't keep offending consequence-free.

Anti-raid & anti-nuke

Anti-raid watches join velocity (default: 5 joins in 10 seconds) and can separately gate accounts below a minimum age, arming raid mode automatically or on demand with /raidmode. Anti-nuke watches the audit log for one account rapidly deleting channels or roles, mass-banning, mass-kicking or creating webhooks, and can strip that account's roles instantly, ban it, or just alert — the defense that matters when a staff account is compromised. Both are free.

AdminSaver

Impersonation protection. Nominate the staff you want protected and Atlas checks every join and nickname change for a lookalike name, then kicks, bans or renames the impostor. The name-similarity threshold and a per-user whitelist are yours to set. AdminSaver is Premium.

Community & engagement

Leveling & rank cards

XP for chatting, with a configurable range per message (default 15–25), a cooldown, no-XP channels and roles, level-up announcements to the current or a fixed channel, and role rewards that can stack or hand out only the highest. /rank renders an image card; /leaderboard shows the top 10 and tells you where you stand. Rank-card artwork — background image, foreground overlay, accent and text colours — is free, and the dashboard crops uploads to size for you. The free plan includes 15 reward tiers.

Giveaways

/giveaways is a hub, not a form: create, end early, reroll and list from one panel with no message IDs to copy. Entry requirements can include a required role, a minimum account age and a minimum time in your server. Bonus entries for a chosen role are Premium.

Events

/events creates RSVP events with Going / Maybe / Declined buttons, an optional reminder before start, and an option to mirror the event into Discord's native scheduled events. Attendee caps with an auto-promoting waitlist are Premium.

Polls & suggestions

/poll posts a button poll with two to five options, one vote per person, and an optional duration after which it ends and freezes its results by itself. /polls is the admin hub for active polls. /suggest submits a numbered suggestion to the channel you set with /suggestions, where the community votes it up or down and staff approve or deny it.

Starboard, welcomes & reaction roles

/starboard reposts messages that clear a reaction threshold (default: 3 ⭐) into a highlights channel, with your choice of emoji and whether self-stars count. /welcome covers welcome and farewell messages — embed or plain text, in-channel and/or by DM, with a banner image, accent colour and the {user}, {username}, {server} and {count} placeholders — plus auto-roles granted on join. /reactroles builds self-assign role panels as buttons or a dropdown.

Everyday utilities

/tag sends a saved snippet (with autocomplete, and it can be aimed at a member); /tags is the create/delete/list panel. /remindme schedules a reminder by DM or a mention in the channel. /afk answers anyone who pings you. /translate auto-detects the source language. /weather gives current conditions and a three-day forecast, with /setlocation to save your city and /weatheralerts to be DM'd about severe weather. And /userinfo, /serverinfo and /avatar for the usual lookups.

Free vs Premium

The free plan is genuinely usable: the entire moderation suite, all ten AutoMod filters, anti-raid and anti-nuke, Warden, hosted transcripts, logging, analytics, leveling with rank-card artwork, and every community feature — plus a pool of 10 panels and 15 tags.

Premium is $5/month per server and lifts the caps:

Support desk — unlimited panels instead of the 10-panel pool; 10 categories or application types per panel instead of 5; unlimited open tickets per member instead of 2; 20 quick responses instead of 5; per-panel whitelists and blacklists; emoji-only panel buttons; the per-category auto-responder; ticket auto-close; and the /staff and /reviews staff-performance commands.

Protection — AdminSaver impersonation protection, and Malware Detection, which checks every uploaded file (up to 32 MB) against VirusTotal's ~70 engines and can delete it and punish the uploader.

Community — weighted giveaway entries for a bonus role; event capacity with auto-promoting waitlists; unlimited level reward tiers instead of 15; unlimited tags.

Dashboard — Custom Branding (a per-server nickname, bio, avatar and banner for Atlas itself) and CSV export of your ticket and punishment trends.

Most of it mirrors the slash commands, but some things only the web can do well: 7/14/30/90-day ticket and punishment trend charts, hosted transcripts you can read in a browser, the staff review leaderboard, drag-and-drop rank-card artwork with in-browser cropping, adjusting a member's XP directly, and an audit log naming every change and who made it. Changes apply instantly — no restart, no re-sync. Staff roles set here are also pushed onto your already-open tickets.
